Our commitment to making Heardle Unlimited usable for players of all abilities.
1. Color contrast and visual indicators
All body text, interactive controls, and UI borders meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1). Guess results include descriptive text badges (Correct, Skipped, Incorrect) so color-blind players can distinguish states without relying on color alone.
2. Keyboard operability
Every interactive element including the audio play/pause toggle, search autocomplete, skip button, and game dialogs can be navigated and activated using Tab, Space, Enter, and arrow keys.
3. Screen reader compatibility
Interactive buttons have descriptive ARIA labels, and live score announcements notify screen reader software when new audio segments unlock or games conclude. If you run into any accessibility barriers, tell us through the contact page.
