What we collect

We collect nothing. Specifically:

• No accounts: You never sign up, log in, or provide an email to play.
• No cookies for tracking: We do not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts.
• No server storage: Your game stats, streaks, and preferences are saved in your browser’s localStorage. This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it, access it, or sell it.
• No contact form storage: When you submit feedback through our contact form, your message is sent to our team email. We do not store form submissions in a database.

What localStorage stores

Your browser stores the following data locally when you play Heardle Unlimited:

• Games played, wins, current streak, max streak
• Guess distribution (how many games you won in 1 guess, 2 guesses, etc.)
• Daily puzzle completion dates
• Audio playback preferences

This data exists only in your browser. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, your stats reset. There is no way for us to recover them because we never had access to them in the first place.

Third-party services

Heardle Unlimited does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or social media tracking tools. The site is hosted as a static file set. There are no third-party scripts running on the page that collect user data.

Children under 13

Heardle Unlimited does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the site collects no personal data at all, there is no risk of children’s data being stored or shared.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how we handle data, we will update this page and note the effective date at the top. Given our current architecture, there is no scenario where we would need to start collecting personal data to operate this game.
