Official rules
Standard regulations governing daily synchronized challenges, streak preservation, progressive unlock milestones, and community fair-play standards.
How it works
The 6-attempt constraint
Every player is allotted exactly 6 attempts to identify the song. An attempt is consumed when a song guess is submitted from the search autocomplete or when the “Skip” button is pressed. If the track is not correctly identified after the 6th attempt, the game is marked as a loss and the full solution is revealed. Check out our how to play manual for detailed interface steps.
Audio duration expansion
Playable snippet lengths expand in a fixed sequence: 1s → 2s (+1s) → 4s (+2s) → 7s (+3s) → 11s (+4s) → 16s (+5s). Players may listen to unlocked audio as many times as desired without consuming additional attempts. For audio troubleshooting on mobile phones, refer to supported devices.
Daily synchronization and streak integrity
The daily challenge resets universally at 00:00 UTC. A consecutive win increases your daily streak by +1. Missing a calendar day or failing to guess the song within 6 attempts resets your active streak to zero. Stats are preserved via your browser's local storage.
Fair play and anti-spoiler sharing etiquette
To maintain an enjoyable experience for the global community, sharing scores must always use the official spoiler-free emoji grid. Revealing song titles or artist names in public discussion channels before the daily UTC reset is discouraged. If you are stuck, use our spoiler-free clues on daily hints rather than consulting raw answer sheets.
